Fall Fitness Tips

  • Take advantage of being outside! 

    • Walking
      • Make it a habit to walk every day
      • Get up 10 minutes early and start your day with a walk around the block 
      • Plan fall activities that involve walking: apple-picking, pumpkin patches, fall leaf viewing
      • Get to work a few minutes early and take a few laps around the parking lot
      • SHRC offers a Walking Club! 
    • Running
      • Fall is the best time of year to run outdoors. Just make sure you dress in layers so you don't get too hot or too cold! 
  • Get back to the gym/classes!

      • Working out with a group of people brings a higher energy to your workout

    • Keep it interesting
      • Try new classes, workouts, and routines
